We’re excited to introduce a fresh new look and dedicated website for HEAT, our free home energy advice service for Surrey residents.

Over the past few months, we’ve been working with local design agency Orangery to help future-proof HEAT and make the service clearer, more professional and easier to access.

The refreshed identity and new microsite have been designed to build trust, reach new audiences and make it simpler for residents across Surrey to understand how HEAT can help them.

Free, practical advice for your home

With continuing uncertainty around energy prices and pressure on household budgets, it has never been more important to help people understand how they can use less energy, keep their homes warmer and save money.

HEAT offers Surrey residents a free home energy survey, carried out by one of our friendly, trained Energy Champions. Our Energy Champions are local people helping others in their communities by providing practical, impartial advice.

During the survey, they will look at how your home uses and loses energy, discuss any concerns you have and identify changes that could make a difference. Afterwards, you’ll receive a tailored report with recommendations, useful information and details of any relevant grants or further support.

More than 3,000 residents have already received a HEAT survey, and the service has earned fantastic feedback from the people it has helped. Now, we want to spread the word and help even more households across Surrey.

A new home for HEAT

Our new dedicated microsite brings everything about the service together in one place. Surrey residents can now:

  • Book a free home energy survey

  • Find out what to expect during a visit

  • Keep up with the latest HEAT news and events

  • Learn about grants and additional support

  • Read reviews from residents who have already used the service

  • Find out about becoming an Energy Champion

The new website also gives HEAT a strong foundation from which to grow, making it easier for current and future partners to promote and deliver the service in their communities.

Working together across Surrey

HEAT is delivered through a growing partnership that brings together local knowledge, trusted organisations and community-based support.

We’re proud to work alongside Circular Dorking and Energy Action Redhill and Reigate to reach residents in their local communities. The project is also supported by Surrey County Council, while Surrey Climate Commission helps us deliver HEAT Plus, providing additional practical support for eligible households.

A new look, with the same trusted service

You may begin to see our new HEAT logo and visual identity appearing on the website, social media and printed materials. We will be introducing the refreshed look gradually, so you may still see the previous branding while we make the transition.

Although HEAT may look different, the service remains the same: free, trusted and reliable support, delivered by local people who want to help Surrey residents use less energy, reduce their bills and feel more comfortable at home.
